Terms and Agreements
Please read these terms carefully before using WalletMessage.
Last updated: April 28, 2026
1. Overview
WalletMessage is a wallet-to-wallet messaging system. It allows users to connect a wallet, view eligible message threads, and send public or password-encrypted messages to another wallet address or ENS name.
By using this app, you agree that you understand how this system works and that you accept the risks of using it.
2. No Responsibility for Events On or Off the App
We take no responsibility for anything that happens on the app, through the app, because of the app, or outside the app. This includes user behavior, message content, misunderstandings, impersonation claims, security incidents, scams, harassment, data leakage, third-party monitoring, financial loss, or any other outcome.
You use WalletMessage entirely at your own risk. If you do not accept that risk, do not use the app.
3. No Privacy or Security Guarantee
We do not guarantee that your data is private. We do not guarantee that your messages cannot be seen, copied, indexed, stored, intercepted, logged, scraped, correlated, or otherwise observed by outside infrastructure, other users, or third parties.
This system does not offer guaranteed security for your data. Public messages should always be treated as potentially visible. Encrypted messages should still be treated as risky because no technical system can be promised to be perfect or beyond observation.
4. Wallet Identity, Pseudonymity, and Tracking Risk
WalletMessage is built around wallet identifiers. The system is designed around the idea that you know which wallet you are speaking to, while others may not know who controls that wallet.
Wallet addresses may be pseudonymous, but we do not guarantee true anonymity. A wallet address may still be linked to a real person if that user has shared identifying information publicly or if third parties are able to correlate activity.
We do not guarantee that a wallet number cannot be connected to a user. That depends on the user’s public behavior, wallet history, and other outside information that we do not control.
5. Encrypted Messages and Shared Passwords
Encrypted messages require a password that must already be known by both users. WalletMessage does not create, manage, recover, verify, or store a shared password for you in any guaranteed secure way.
If you use encrypted messaging, you are responsible for setting and sharing the password safely before use. If the password is weak, reused, exposed, guessed, or shared badly, that risk is yours.
6. User Safety and Common Sense Rules
- Never assume that a message is fully private or impossible for others to observe.
- Do not include real names, home addresses, phone numbers, exact locations, or other identifying details.
- Do not send passwords, seed phrases, private keys, or any high-risk secret through this app.
- Use common sense. If disclosure would harm you, do not put that information into the system.
7. Wallet-Only Access
WalletMessage is wallet-connection based. No email, username, or credit card is required to use the app. Access depends on wallet connectivity and signing capability.
You are solely responsible for your wallet, your device, your keys, your signing actions, and any activity performed through a connected wallet.
8. User Content and Moderation
Users are responsible for the content they write, send, or react to. We do not endorse user content. We may hide, filter, or mark content or threads in the app interface, and administrators or outside systems may remove or retain records independently of the interface you see.
9. No Warranties
WalletMessage is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, with no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free operation, message permanence, message deletion, privacy, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, reputational, financial, or other damages arising from your use of WalletMessage or your inability to use it.
This includes damages related to identity exposure, data observation, failed encryption expectations, wallet correlation, message disputes, wallet misuse, or third-party actions.
11. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using WalletMessage, you agree to these terms and agreements. If you do not agree, you should stop using the app.
