The Wallet Way to Send a Message
How Wallet Message Works
Connect your wallet, tap Send Message, search or paste the wallet address or ENS name you want to reach, then sign and send a message. If both wallet owners share a password, you can add it to encrypt the conversation content before it is posted.
- Wallet signatures help verify which wallet sent each post and reply, so you always know the wallet identity you are speaking with.
- Messages can be public or password-encrypted. Once a shared password is used, both sides can unlock the thread and reply inside the same conversation.
- No profile signup or personal bio details are required here. Messages are routed by wallet address or ENS name through the onchain walletmessage.eth ENS gateway, so the message route is not tied to a normal single-site identity layer.
- Important: we do not guarantee that public or encrypted messages cannot be observed by outside infrastructure. Avoid sending secrets you cannot afford to expose, and never include real names, locations, or other identifying details if you want to stay safer.
